What is Crysp?
Crysp is an independent design and development studio based in Chicago, founded by Brandon House. Crysp handles strategy, design, development, and ongoing support for brands and organizations, with the tagline “Designed to Matter. Built to Last.”
What does Crysp do?
Crysp plans, designs, and builds websites, then keeps them fast, secure, and improving after launch. A typical engagement covers strategy and planning, visual design, custom development, accessibility, SEO, and ongoing creative and technical support.
Who does Crysp work with?
Crysp works with nonprofits, labor unions, advocacy groups, and mission-driven brands: organizations whose websites need to inform, organize, and move people to act.
What platforms does Crysp build on?
Crysp isn’t tied to one platform. Crysp picks the content management system that fits how your team works, whether that’s WordPress, another CMS, or a fully custom build, and sets it up so your team can update pages and publish news without calling a developer. Crysp also takes over existing sites, whatever they’re built on, and makes them faster and easier to manage. Every site is built by hand, without bloated themes or page builders, so it loads fast and stays easy to maintain.
How much does a website with Crysp cost?
Most Crysp projects start at $10,000, and larger redesigns with custom features and content migration run from $35,000 to $100,000 or more. Every project is scoped to the work, and the Let’s Talk form lets you share an estimated budget up front.
Does Crysp work with clients outside Chicago?
Yes. Crysp is based in Chicago and works remotely with organizations across the United States.
What happens after launch?
Crysp sticks around. After launch, Crysp provides ongoing maintenance, updates, and creative support, so the site keeps getting better instead of slowly going stale.
How do I start a project with Crysp?
Use the Let’s Talk form. Share a little about your organization, what you need, and an estimated budget, and Crysp will follow up to set up a conversation. Crysp currently has room for two or three new client partnerships.
